For any women who remains on her feet all day, is not at all preferable to wear saddle shoes having five inched heels. This may lead to different foot problems. Usually, such women love to run around in sneakers, but Nike and black slacks are outdated fashions. For a comfortable pair of saddle shoes that are stylish, don't go over a three inch heel. All the pressure lies on the balls of the feet when heels are worn so try to find a pair of shoes that distributes pressure evenly.
Most important aspect is to see how the saddle shoe actually fits. It is always preferred to measure the feet. Department stores do not offer this service but they do stock branics so look under the seats and find one. Also, ask the salesperson how the shoe fits- does it run big or small? In most cases, one must wear a shoe a half size bigger than what is measured. Our feet change our whole lives; arches fall and feet get wider, so its not the thing if one has worn shoes of size seven, it will remain the same whole life throughout.
Generally, with heels, it is usual that the foot slides forward. Avoid placing heel pads in the shoe, because this may push the foot forward and cram toes. Instead try to keep a pad under the ball of the foot or on top of the shoe where the tongue would go. This will keep the foot pushed back in the shoe and let the toes be relieved.
